Pastor Roger Hogan I am honored to have pastored this church going on twenty-seven years. On June 8th 1976, at the age of 29, I rededicated my life to Jesus Christ here at the Farmington First Free Will Baptist Church when Rev. Jim McAllister was pastor. Three nights later my wife Carolyn rededicated her life to Jesus Christ and together we began a new life and a new journey. Under the evangelistic preaching and teaching of Bro. Jim, I sensed God calling me to preach the gospel. While attending the 1978 National Convention of Free Will Baptist held in Kansas City, Missouri I surrendered to preach. In December of 1979 Bro. McAllister hired me to join the church staff as the church custodian. Later, I became pastor of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, MO. I Served there seven years before being called home and pastor of this great church. Over the years God has blessed, souls have been saved, the saints have been equipped, and people have grown in the Lord. Today, we have an awesome church family, a God gifted and anointed staff and we’re looking to the Lord for a blessed future. |
