ARE YOU ALIVE OR ARE YOU AMONG THE WALKING DEAD?

Most everyone has heard of the scripture, or at least have seen it somewhere along the line:

(ESV) John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

This is the one verse that the whole Christian faith rides on. If it is NOT true, then everything else in the bible is a lie! God sacrificed his only Son so that we would have LIFE! You say, "I already have life. What are you talking about?" Well lets read the next two verses, shall we?

(ESV) John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condenm the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

Condenmed, Saved... WHAT?! Condenmed means Dead, Saved means Alive!  One more verse; and this is critical to understand!

(ESV) John 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condenmed, but whoever does not believe is condenmed already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

 "So let me get this straight. If I believe in him, I'm made Alive, but if I don't believe in him I'm already Dead?"

That's exactly right. It's been asked by millions of men before us: What must I do to get to heaven? Maybe the better question would be: What must I do to go to hell? Answer: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
